Associate Spotlight – Jeff Maki

What do you think is an important skill a professional must have? An important skill for a professional is patience, to listen, to learn, and to teach.

What does your perfect weekend look like? A perfect weekend would include camping with my wife and dog. There would be no rain, the mid-70s with a breeze, a nice campfire, and, of course, no bugs.

What are some of your favorite local spots to visit? My favorite local places are Pattison Park, Enger Tower, Jay Cooke State Park, any golf course, and a chair around the fire pit by my camper.

What do you think makes you unique as a team member? What makes me unique is my ability to stay calm in most situations and my diverse background in banking and life.

Do you have any strategies for dealing with stress at work? My strategy is to stay calm, think rationally, and respond appropriately.  I also leave work at work.

What is one thing you’re looking forward to, workwise, this year? I am looking forward to working another year with our great team at Superior – Main.
