Duluth – Downtown Branch Closing

First and foremost, thank you for being a National Bank of Commerce customer and keeping your deposits local. Banking locally allows your dollars to be reinvested into our community.

After careful consideration, we have decided to permanently close the National Bank of Commerce Downtown Duluth branch at 306 W Superior St. We do not plan to reopen this location, which will officially close on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 5:00 pm.

The good news? We have a location exactly—yes, we Google mapped it—1.5 miles down the road at 1314 E Superior St. This will be the nearest physical branch if you regularly bank at the Downtown Duluth location.

Keep in mind that you can access all our services anywhere, anytime! We have a robust suite of remote banking tools such as online and mobile banking, mobile deposit capture, direct deposit, eStatements, and NBC iPay (bill pay). If you still want to come into a branch to see us, we get that; we also have 20 other NBC locations that would be more than happy to see you.

No action is necessary by you! Customers with a safe deposit box at this location have been contacted separately with more information.
